Nigerian award-winning singer, Burna has blown hot at foreign media platforms over a trending photo of him without a beard.
In 2021, the singer, whose signature style is his beards, broke the internet when a photo of him without beards made rounds. Now the photo has resurfaced and some foreign media platforms are making articles on it.
Burna Boy took to his Instagram story to slam those who depend on such blogs, calling them weirdos. He noted how he shaved his beards in 2021 and now now. However, it gives him joy to know that with all the history he has been setting and breaking, they only care about who he is sleeping with and his shaved beard.
Tendering an apology to Nigerian media, he stated that he thought Nigerian blogs’ stupidity was unique, and now he knows they learnt it from the West.
“To all you weirdos who depend on @theshaderoom @theshadeborough and other weirdos’ blogs for your daily news. I shaved my beard in 2021 not now. But it’s good to know that for all the history I’ve been making and records I’ve been setting and breaking. You PARASITES only care about who I might have fucked, who I’m fùcking, and stupīd shit like “Burna Boy shaved his beard”. I gotta apologize to Nigerian blogs now cuz I thought their stupidity was unique. I didn’t know they learned all they know from the West”.
Recall that in 2021, Burna Boy stunned social media as he shared his new look after shaving off his beard. He stated that shaving his beard has made him look old.
His new look generated several fans’ reactions and criticisms, but the singer felt many of his fans loved him because of his hair and beard, and in a post on his Instagram page, he told them not to push him to cut his hair.
Burna Boy advised his fans not to build their lives on conditional love but on family, those who have shown no sign of potential disloyalty, talent, and God.
In different news, the Grammy singer had reacted to a viral video of him rocking Davido’s 30BG chain before his rise to fame.
Singer, Jaywon had previously claimed during an interview that Davido gifted him a 30BG chain, which was to inspire Burna Boy and that was Davido’s contribution to his career.
Reacting to it, Burna Boy promised to address the audio chain and many more but first of all he wanted Coko Bar’s money to expire first.
