Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up’ housemate, Doyin David seems to be picking a side in the never-ending beef between Vee Iye and Venita Akpofure.
The two who became enemies after Vee Iye dated Venita’s cousin, Neo Akpofure, have been throwing shots at each other. Reigniting their feud, Venita liked a shady post about Vee Iye. A Twitter user had suggested that Vee Iye was using her relationship for clout.
This allegation was made following a video that Vee Iye shared on her Instagram page where she was seen all booed up with a mystery man. Now, Venita took to Twitter to like that shady comment and Vee Iye had characteristically retorted back, calling her a fool at 40. Venita Akpofure, who wasn’t ready to trade words with her, expressed that the past should stay exactly where it belongs.
Weighing into it, Doyin had liked a tweet that defended Vee Iye and called Venita a bully.
The tweet reads, “Anyone that blames Vee is very foolish and an unfortunate being.
None of you unfortunate stans should blame Vee for standing up for herself. Venita is a bully, old fool”.
Recall that Neo dated Vee Iye, while they were in the Lockdown Big Brother house and after the show. Unfortunately, like most relationships, theirs didn’t last. It was alleged that Vee Iye’s issue with his cousin, Venita was one of the many reasons why they broke up.
In a chat with some Twitter users, Vee suggested that Venita did her bad while she was still with Neo. Refreshing your memory, Venita had gone on a rant expressing her displeasure on how Neo was placing his love life above other things.
Opening up about their breakup in an interview, Vee revealed that she and Neo ended amicably without any drama, as their relationship was good till things turned sour, and then they decided to pathways.
Neo Akpofure, on the other hand, had claimed that Vee wanted him back and regrets losing them. A claim that Vee Iye strongly denied.
