Nigeria’s Queen of the track, Oluwatobiloba Amusan has arrived in Birmingham, United Kingdom for the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Amusan hit global headlines after she smashed the 100m hurdles world record and also claimed a Gold medal in the event at the just concluded World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon.
Also in Birmingham is Long Jumper, Ese Brume a close ally of Amusan.
Brume won a Silver medal in the Long Jump event at the World Athletics Championships.
The duo arrived at the Games Village on Thursday (today) to a rousing welcome by officials and fellow athletes.
Amusan and Brume won Gold medals in their different events during the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia.
The opening ceremony of the 2022 Commonwealth Games will hold at Alexander Stadium, Birmingham, United Kingdom today.
