The 2024 Ballon d’Or voting has revealed Rodri’s margin of victory over runner-up Vinicius Junior.
L’Equipe has published the exact breakdown of the votes, with Rodri edging out the Brazilian by just 41 points.
This year’s edition of the Ballon d’Or proved to be one of the most controversial as Real Madrid boycotted the event when they found out Vinicius Jr was not going to win the 2024 Golden Ball.
Los Blancos picked up a whole host of gongs on the night but they did not travel to the ceremony in Paris in protest.
