Customers looking to get their Tesco, M&S and Morrisons Christmas food shop booked early can now secure their shopping slots
A number of supermarkets have revealed when and how customers can secure Christmas delivery slots. The big day is only a matter of months away now and it is not too early to be thinking ahead so you can have a less stressful December. Some supermarkets allow shoppers to get their orders in earlier than others.
Customers looking to get their Tesco, M&S and Morrisons Christmas food shop booked early can now secure their shopping slots. Many of the supermarkets have urged shoppers to be quick in order not to miss out on a slot as they can be highly in demand especially with Christmas nearing closer.

Below is everything we know about when you can book your 2024 Christmas delivery slots:
Tesco
Tesco is making it easier for customers to get their Christmas food order this year as they have added thousands of extra slots in the two weeks leading up to Christmas. Shoppers can sign up the the supermarket’s Delivery Saver plan to secure early access to online slots over the festive period.
Anyone signed up to an Anytime Delivery Saver plan or Click+Collect plan can get a week’s head start with slots opening to this group at 6am on 5 November. Slots open for all other customers on 12 November at 6am, which is one week earlier than last year.
M&S
M&S provides customers with a Christmas Food to Order service that allows customers to reserve festive groceries for collection in-store as they do not offer a home delivery service. Shoppers can book their delivery slots now. There is a minimum order value of £50 and availability for delivery slots are expected to run out fast.
Customers can collect their food order in-store from 22-24 December (England, Wales and Scotland) or on 23 or 24 December (Northern Ireland)
ASDA
Asda allows its Delivery Pass members first access to festive slots before they open to the rest of the public. According to Asda they have the UK’s cheapest supermarket delivery passes ranging from just £3.95 a month.
Morrisons
Morrisons has announced its Christmas delivery slots and it’s earlier than last year. Customers who have a Delivery Pass will be able to order ahead of those without one. The Morrisons Delivery Pass is a flexible subscription service that allows shoppers to order online without delivery fees.
Delivery Pass customers have been able to book their slots from October 2, with a minimum spend of just £25. Those without a Morrisons Delivery Pass will have to wait until October 9 to book their Christmas delivery slots.
Christmas food can be delivered between December 20 and 24. Booking in advance gives shoppers the chance to plan ahead for the festive period.
Ocado
Smart Pass customers who signed up on or before 1st September 2024 will get early access to Christmas slots before the general release. These slots get booked up quickly and it is not guaranteed everyone will get one. Ocado recommend you book your slot as soon as you’re notified that slots are available for booking. It’s best to monitor their app closely and set up alerts, as popular delivery days may be sold out within hours of becoming available.
Aldi
Aldi offers a click-and-collect service during the Christmas period. Slots for click and collect usually open in early December and it is recommended to keep an eye on the Aldi website or app for when bookings start. Aldi does not offer home delivery for groceries.
