Fletcher’s Beer Garden at Allerton Manor is a sprawling venue where guests can grab a drink and watch live sports throughout the summer. Weather allowing, the garden holds up to 250 people and offers a range of events to keep all ages entertained.

Located on Allerton Road, the venue has become hugely popular and promises an ‘unforgettable experiences’ for all visitors. The sun trap boasts live music and holds barbeques, hoedown parties, line-dancing discos and even bucking broncos on special occasions.


Now in its sixth year, Fletcher’s Beer Garden is naturally a hit with sports fanatics as the big screens broadcast Liverpool and Everton games alongside other noteworthy events. Guests can also dine al fresco with a menu featuring classics such as loaded fries and nachos, burgers, pizzas and ice cream.

If the weather does turn sour, you can pull up a seat inside Fletcher’s Sports Bar just a few feet away. The stylish venue lives within a Grade II listed building, acting as a cosy hideaway with classic finishes and plenty of televisions around the vicinity to help you keep track of the score.

The building, which was originally built in 1815, was in ruins after a fire broke out in 1944. Renovations saw many of the salvageable features and structures retain their integrity but spruced up for modern tastes.

If you do pop in for a drink and find yourself swept away by the area, there’s still plenty to experience around the Allerton Manor grounds. The golf course is one of the oldest in the country and still welcomes people for a challenge.


The Old Stables restaurant takes its name from the stable block upon which it’s built. The interior is stylish and modern with an equally impressive menu featuring everything from slow-cooked pork belly and roasted duck breast to crispy king oyster mushrooms and glazed beef short rib. The eatery also provides classic roasts, afternoon teas and children’s menus.

The Hay Loft is a beautifully renovated Grade II listed building that overlooks the golf course. With private bar access and a tranquil outdoor terrace, the Hay Loft is typically used for wedding ceremonies and special occasions.
