In a recent development, controversial media personality Daniel Regha has taken to the X platform to speak on the Afrobeats.
He revealed that it was disrespectful for anybody to be called king of Afrobeats except it was Fela that was being refereed to.
He boldly expressed that the only person who should be called king of Afrobeats was Fela Anikulapo Kuti.
He also gave reasons for his statement as he disclosed that without Fela there would be no Afrobeats. He also revealed that not only had Fela pioneered the genre of Afrobeats, but till date his songs still continues to give inspiration to many Nigerian artists.
He further revealed that Fela remains number one while others are self-titled.
Now recall that Just two days ago, Daniel and reality tv star Phyna had engaged in an online spat after Daniel Regha called out Fela making a poor decision to disrespect Edo men.
Daniel had slammed phyna for revealing that a Edo men were the worst in Nigeria when it comes to binding relationships. However, Phyna in retaliation has stated that there was no difference between her and Daniel and Daniel should therefore being a hypocrite.
Also, recall that just five days ago, Kemi Filani had reported that Daniel Regha had come for people who had time to set their phone cameras to cry. He revealed how puzzled it was for people who were feeling emotional to have a camera in front of their faces while crying.
He further hinted at the fact that the emotional turmoil is not that intense for them to still feel the need to record it.
