Insecurity: Zamfara communities now slaves to bandits — APC Chieftain, Bakyasuwa
A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Zamfara State and Security Expert, Bello Soja Bakyasuwa has appealed to President Bola Ahmad Tinubu to do more towards addressing insecurity, saying communities in the rural areas are now slaves to the bandits.
Bello Bakyasuwa, the immediate past Commandant, of Zamfara Anti Thuggery Agency lamented the escalating security challenges facing the State.
In a statement issued on Saturday in Gusau,the former commandant of Zamfara Anti thuggery disclosed that people are aware of the security situation bevelling the state for over a decade.
“The current insecurity and economic crisis in the state indicating that no hope for the common man.
His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu must do something urgent towards curtailing the ugly situation”.
“Urgent action from the government at all levels is needed to rescue Zamfara from the critical security situation”.
“It is uncalled for that our communities in the rural areas became slaves to the bandits. Some bad elements are turning the state into an era of darkness and barbarism.
“I think Mr President need to have real information on what is happening in Zamfara state with regard to security situation”.
Bakyasuwa advised Mr President against desperate politicians from Zamfara State who have been hiding the real security situation for their selfish interest.
He further called on President Tinubu to appoint competent personalities from the state so as to assist in tackling the terrible security situation in the state.
“People with good records, proven integrity should be appointed from Zamfara for the State to have a sound representation especially to help Mr President with the real information on true security situation of the state”.
“A State with people with proven integrity and competency like Sen Kabiru Garba Marafa shouldn’t be neglected”.
“President Bola Ahmad Tinibu secured massive votes during his Presidential Election through the giant effort by the APC Presidential Campaign Council Senator Kabir Marafa CON as State Coordinator.
“Everyone is aware of how APC/President Bola Ahmed Tinubu got massive votes in Zamfara, compared with other states in North.
“I am using this medium to appealed to Mr President to consider rewarding those who suffered and delivered for the success of the party”, he appealed.
