Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a gang-related triple shooting more than two weeks ago in San Jose, police said.
The shooting was reported around 4:50 p.m. on Feb. 11 in the area of Lotus Street and Appian Lane, San Jose police Officer Tanya Hernandez said in a news release Thursday. Officers arrived to find two men suffering from at least one gunshot wound each.
Both victims were taken to an area hospital, Hernandez said, adding that officers later learned a third victim arrived at a hospital suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
On Feb. 12, investigators identified the shooting suspects as an 18-year-old San Jose man and a 16-year-old child, Hernandez said. Both were found in San Jose and arrested.
The older suspect was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail on charges of gang-motivated attempted murder. The younger suspect was booked into Juvenile Hall on the same charge.
Hernandez said a loaded 3D-printed handgun was found during a search of the younger suspect’s home.
