My father flew them from Tunisia and Italy, 23 combat missions over Southern Europe, including the messchersmidt plant where they were building the ME-262 twice.
B-24ās were built at 5 plants around the country. Not just Ford in Michigan.
North American in Dallas, Tx for example was directed to help build B-24ās. Building 966 Liberatorās.
And Henry Ford was a Hitler supporter for quite a time. He built factories in the Sovjet union after the war as well.
Wasn’t the Sovjet mobile gas chambers ford trucks? The Sovjet mobile gas chambers were made to kill people, unlike the german gas chambers for disinfection of lice.
I did not know that Ford built the B-24’s, Thats actually pretty cool actually, but wasn’t the B-24 designed by the Consolidated Aircraft company but Ford put them together?
