<li>This position provides mechanical support to the Bakken area on Gas lift, station, VRU, and gas sales compression</li>

<li>Ensure operations sites are being maintained in a safe manner</li>
<li>Engine oil and compression oil analysis</li>
<li>Keep detailed and accurate records</li>
<li>Perform repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting on compression packages</li>
<li>Other operations duties as assigned</li>
<li>Maintain and repair a variety of pumps, compressors, motors, engines, turbines, generator, and other rotating and fixed equipment of all sizes, generally in the field</li>
<li>Coordinate and perform mechanical maintenance and repairs of equipment as needed</li>
<li>Work in the proximity of various electrical circuits and machinery in various outside weather conditions</li>

<ul>
<li>General operational mechanical and maintenance knowledge of natural gas engines, gas sales (screw) compressors, gathering compressor stations, and Vapor recovery screw compression</li>
<li>Must be able to perform duties with minimal supervision</li>
<li>Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced compression and midstream leadership.</li>
<li>Must be able to work shifts</li>
<li>Must be able to be on call</li>
<li>Must be able to lift 50 pounds</li>
<li>Must be able to work in extreme outdoor temperatures</li>
<li>Must be able to perform duties with minimal supervision</li>
<li>Must be able to communicate and be a team player, and work with other personnel, departments, and outside officials</li>
<li>Basic Computer skills needed for planning, scheduling, record keeping, regulations, engine analysis, and troubleshooting</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of compressor stations, process flow, and component's purpose within all stations. </li>
<li>Must be knowledgeable of hazards and safety details within the stations and field  </li>
<li>2 years of formal or industry experience in oil/gas field is preferred, along with Ariel, CAT, and Cummins training</li>

<p>This Operations and Mechanical (O&amp;M) position requires pre-employment testing. After applying you will receive a pop up giving you access to the assessment. You may take the assessment at that time or utilize the instructions below to access the assessment at a time convenient for you.  Note that the assessment must be completed by the deadline in order for you to be considered for the O&amp;M position for which you have applied. </p>

The O&amp;M test has been revised.  Effective December 1, 2021 ALL candidates must complete the revised assessment.  Even if you have tested within the last 365 days (passed or failed), if you tested before December 1, 2021, you must complete the revised assessment to be considered for this O&amp;M opportunity.  Failure to complete the assessment by the deadline will result in your disqualification from consideration for this position.  The assessment is the same for all O&amp;M requisitions.  If you have completed the assessment after December 1, 2021, your assessment results will be mapped to this requisition when you try to access the test. Test passed candidates will be screened by the hiring team and a subset invited for interview.  Note that a satisfactory result on the assessment does not guarantee an interview.   </p>
