  1. The Dangote Petroleum Refinery is set to supply fuel to 150,000 retail outlets operated by the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) following a meeting between the refinery’s management and IPMAN executives.
  2. The Federal Government, through the Ministry of Solid Minerals Development, is investigating the explosion in Ibadan. The Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake, has expressed the government’s commitment to determining the cause of the explosion.
  3. The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has criticized the relocation of key departments of the Central Bank of Nigeria and the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria to Lagos, alleging that it’s a deliberate attempt to underdevelop the northern region.
  4. Three police officers have been apprehended by the Rivers State Police Command for abducting and extorting over N4m from travelers in Abia State. The officers disguised themselves as operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
  5. A gas pipeline owned by the Nigeria Agip Oil Company exploded in the Obagi community in Rivers State, causing damage to the surrounding area. Fortunately, no lives were lost.
  6. Family members of the Al-Kadriyar girls revealed that they paid a ransom to bandits for the release of five of the six girls who were among 23 persons kidnapped in the Bwari area of the Federal Capital Territory.
  7. A Federal High Court in Abuja is set to deliver judgment in the suit by the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Martin Amaewhule, against Governor Siminalayi Fubara, the National Assembly, and others.
  8. Labour Party aspirants for the Edo State Governorship Primary rejected the N30 million charged for expression of interest and nomination forms. Aspirants scheduled a meeting to discuss the matter further.
  9. Suleiman Sabo, a resident of the Federal Capital Territory, who was abducted at Sauka, along Airport road, has been rescued. He was abducted while heading home with his wife.
  10. A fire affected four floors of the popular 10-storey Mandilas building on Broad Street, Lagos Island, causing damage to properties worth millions of naira. Emergency responders, including the Fire and Rescue Service and the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, rushed to the scene.
