- Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) officials conducted a raid on the headquarters of Dangote Industries Limited in Lagos as part of an investigation into alleged foreign exchange allocation abuse by the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele.
- A bill proposing the establishment of 47 new federally-owned universities in Nigeria has passed the second reading, potentially increasing the total to 99. Additionally, 56 bills for the creation of Federal Medical Centres across the country have also passed the second reading.
