One of the largest private-sector financial services providers in Africa, First Bank of Nigeria, has warned their numerous customers against scam.
The commercial bank issued the warning on its X, formerly Twitter handle on Wednesday, adding that being scam conscious cannot be over emphasized.
It urged the general public to be alert and conscious noting that the bank will never redirect you to a WhatsApp group or telegram platform to address any complaints.
The Nigeria’s oldest bank which was founded in 1894 cautioned that at no time should you disclose your personal information, including PIN, password and OTPs to anyone as it will never ask for such details
