Mourinho reveals what Chelsea have lost as Abramovich walks away, Boehly takes over
Recall that American billionaire, Todd Boehly, and his consortium are now on the verge of completing a £4.25 billion takeover after agreeing on a deal to buy Chelsea last weekend.
Since Abramovich announced his decision to sell Chelsea in March and the UK government sanction on the Blues, Chelsea’s form has dipped in the Premier League to an extent where they are now just one point ahead of fourth-placed Arsenal.
Chelsea were also eliminated from the Champions League at the hands of Real Madrid.
AS Roma manager, Jose Mourinho, has revealed that Chelsea have lost a level of ‘excellence and stability’ as Roman Abramovich walks away and Todd Boehly is set to take over the West London club.

Chelsea were also eliminated from the Champions League at the hands of Real Madrid.
And Mourinho, who won three Premier League titles across two spells as Chelsea manager, believes the Stamford Bridge club have suffered on the pitch due to the takeover.
“Of course, it’s a difficult moment and you can even feel it at the football level because they have lost that level of excellence and stability. But this is at the moment, you know,” Mourinho told Sky Sports.
“If you ask me if I have somebody I would love to take over my Chelsea, yes I have, but I will close my mouth.
“I just know the club has reached such a level that it doesn’t matter who it’s with, Chelsea will always be Chelsea. Chelsea will always be big.
“And my house will always be 200 metres from the stadium and I want to keep listening to the sound of happiness and success and I’m pretty sure it’s going to be like that.”
