Songstress Tiwa Savage is raving on the success of her latest tune, ‘Stamina’, featuring fast rising Mavin Records signee Ayra Starr and music producer/singer Young Jonn, to bring fans its music video for the single. In celebration of International Women’s Day 2023 recently, Tiwa was among the VIP guests at the reception held at Buckingham Palace, England.

It’s another call for the queen of afrobeats as she received invitation to perform at a celebratory show lasting three days at Windsor Castle marking the coronation of King Charles III, the British monarch. The momentous occasion is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Westminster Abbey in London.
Tiwa Savage will be joining a star-studded lineup of world-renowned entertainers, including Steve Winwood, DJ Pete Tong, Lang Lang, Lucy, Paloma Faith, and Olly Murs, who are set to provide entertainment for guests during the coronation concert and Big Lunch on Sunday, May 7, 2023 organised by the BBC.
Tiwa Savage’s invitation to perform at the coronation is a remarkable achievement, as she becomes the first Nigerian musician to receive this honour. According to a statement released by the organizers, Tiwa Savage was chosen as one of the select few African artists to perform at the historic coronation concert.
“We are excited to announce that Tiwa Savage will be performing at the coronation concert alongside other world-class musicians. Tiwa Savage is an exceptional artiste with a unique blend of African and Western sounds. We are confident that her performance will add colour and excitement to the event,” the statement read.
As part of the festivities, a range of street parties will be held across the UK alongside a volunteering campaign. The coronation event marks the official ascension of the monarch, King Charles III, and his Queen Consort, Camilla, to the throne following the passing of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.
Buckingham Palace revealed plans for a festive celebration lasting three days. The festivities will include several notable events, such as a concert featuring famous celebrities at Windsor Castle, a series of street parties that will take place throughout the country, and a volunteering campaign called “The Big Help Out.”
“Buckingham Palace is pleased to announce further details on the ceremonial, celebratory, and community events that will take place over the Coronation Weekend between Saturday 6th and Monday 8th May 2023,” read Buckingham Palace’s release.
“The Service will be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury. As previously announced the Service will reflect the Monarch’s role today and look towards the future while being rooted in longstanding traditions and pageantry.”
