Napoli loanee, Tanguy Ndombele has hit out at sacked Tottenham manager, Antonio Conte.
Conte was sacked by Tottenham last week after his rant following Tottenham’s 3-3 with Southampton before the international break.
Ndombele, who signed for Spurs in 2019 for a club record £55 million, said there was no chance for him to prove himself under Conte.
He also had a high-profile falling out with Jose Mourinho in his first season at the club before once again being cast out in 2021, this time by Conte.
The midfielder has spent the last 18 months out on loan and is currently at Napoli where he has scored two and made one assist.
“There was no other solution with Tottenham and I’m happy I chose Napoli,” he told SoFoot.
“With Conte there was no choice.”
The Frenchman said he was pushed out of the Tottenham squad by the former Italy, Inter Milan, Juventus and Chelsea manager who is now without a job.
Ndombele said he was told from the beginning he was not part of Conte’s plans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
So much hate for Conte. He has a nasty attitude most players don’t like.
