What range of salary is okay?

With the current economic situation in Nigeria, what range of salary is okay for one to feed, transport him/herself to work and also save to pay rent?

It depends on your location. For example you can't compare the cost of living in Lagos or Abuja with those living in other parts of the country. So it is difficult to pick a value. It also depends on whether you are single or married. If you are still single then 100K should be okay anywhere in Nigeria. But if married with kids and other responsibilities then you will require double of that value as a minimum.

In the present day Nigeria, it is only a fresh graduate that is single, with little or no job experience that can accept 100k as a salary. A man with family cannot cope with such salary, except he wants to be spending his salary before receiving it.
