Stepping On Juju. How Does It Work?

I heard they normally put it on the ground or sometimes on the seat of the targeted victim.
Now these are the things I want to know;
1. Are these things visible? ( I want to know because some people argue that they are not visible and will only take a spiritually discerning mind and eyes to spot it)
2. If visible, what do they look like?
3. What is their mode of operation?

They are not visible to human eyes, it is spiritual, so therefore, it will need a spiritually discerned mind and eyes to spot it.
All those things they keep on the floor, covered with red cloths and chicken feathers are just objects, the main content of that object is spiritual.
