Atiku met with the UK Minister for Development and Africa in the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, Andrew Mitchell, among other key senior officials.

He also held a closed-door meeting with the Archbishop of Canterbury, Most Revd Justin Welby, in the United Kingdom.

Among those on his entourage are Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State and Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, former Kogi Senator Dino Melaye; former National PDP National Chairman, Uche Secondus; erstwhile Aviation Minister, Osita Chidoka; former Senate President, Bukola Saraki and his aides also accompanied him on the trip.

A former presidential aide, Reno Omori on Friday morning shared the video of Atiku’s arrival on his verified Twitter page.

Omokri stated in the tweet, “The next president of Nigeria (God willing) Is back in Nigeria after a most successful trip to the UK.”

Recall that Atiku had said he was in the United Kingdom to discuss areas of potential future collaboration between Nigeria and the UK.
